The (1) number and (2) height of 5G masts are problems, particularly in cities. The wavelength of the electromagnetic (radio wave) emission is shorter (higher frequency)than previous mobile phone signals, and so does not travel around corners of buildings as well as 4G technology. So there will be many more 5G masts than 4G. Another way to address this problem is to have tall masts protruding well above the roofs. Then the proliferation of "antennae" is an eyesore. But the Gov is determined that 5G is coming everywhere: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-56805844
